Quick FYI!

Coastal Scents is having a huge sale right now! I’ve never used the brand before, but I’m using this sale to give it a shot! I ordered 12 hot (45% off of $3.95) and got the empty 12 slot palette for free! So I’ll be doing a review on that whenever that comes in and I try it out. Check out the sale! It ends tomorrow (August 10th)!

Question!

How is the quality of the e.l.f eye shadow? I’m thinking about buying a palette, but I want to make sure it’s not awful quality and has good payoff.
Anyone have any comments on it?

I’ve loved hearing from all of you about the UD palette

I’d like some feedback about this blog in general! Any ideas or something you think would make it better? Suggestions?

@vodkabottlesandpictureframes "i wanted to try out the MAC foundation. as far as coverage, does it look natural? and what type of skin to you have?"

Yes, it does look natural. It doesn’t look cakey at all. I use a translucent powder (by MakeUpForver) to set it, and then it looks even better, I think. I have pretty normal skin. I have the occasional pimple, but it’s pretty clear (thanks to my skin routine). At the end of the day I might get a little oily in my T zone, but other than that, it’s pretty normal. I would definitely try out the foundation! :)

MAC Studio Fix Liquid Foundation Review

I know there are tooonnnss of reviews out there on this product, but I’m gonna go ahead and put in my two cents.
I bought this foundation about a week ago. Previously, I was using the Lorac Natural Breakthrough foundation, and it was wasn’t cutting it. After about a month of using it I was over it but forced myself to use it up. (Basically my main problem with it was that when it pumped out of the bottle, the oil was separated from the foundation. It was just annoying)
Anyway, so I’m really liking this foundation so far! My color is NC15 (I think?). It’s the lightest color (I need to tan!). When the lady in the store applied it to match the color, I was amazed at how nice and natural it looked! And it covered redness I had from a breakout.
Overall, this stuff does exactly what I want. Great coverage (medium that’s buildable). Not cakey. Looks natural. And LASTS! Only downfall, it’s around $28 after tax. But it’s worth it.
